
After a mere month's worth of workouts focused on a rarely run distance, the TCLA crowd gave it their best over 1609 meters, better known as one mile. Most runners did an excellent job of pacing themselves over the distance, and they ran strong second halves. Of course, that did not stop just about everyone from discovering a special kind of pain not often experienced during longer road races.
