Take your hat off to Meshelle Osborne the next time you see her. At the same race in which the fastest marathon in history was run (but who really cares about that?), Meshelle turned in a personal best of 3:16:17, good enough for a highly seeded number at the Boston Marathon.

1999 Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon

Take off your hat and whatever else you feel appropriate to Elizabeth Farnan, TCLA's newest Ironperson. After taking 1:27:09 to swim 2.4 miles, and 5:12:30 to bicycle 112 miles, she only needed only to run a marathon, and that she did (well, some walking occurred, but that's in the rulebook, so more power to her) to finish in 13:48:48.
